Four Palms, Scottburgh, South Coast, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa

If you want to feel like a millionaire on a working person's budget, treat yourself to a weekend at the Four Palms! This is definitely the fanciest place we've ever stayed and the hosts made us feel like celebrities!

There are 3 units, each with coffee making facilities and en-suite bathroom.

Room 1 - double bed, bath with shower hose

Room 2 - double bed, single bed, bath with overhead shower

Room 3 - double bed and two single beds, massive double shower and corner bath (this is definitely the Presidential Suite)

The large, extremely well equipped kitchen is shared by the three units and there are 2 lounges with tvs and games etc, if you feel the need to ever leave the pool! There are also lots of board games and dvds to watch.

The outdoor entertainment area is fantastic, sparkling pool, lots of seating space and plenty loungers for everyone! We did not use the jacuzzi feature much but it is available should you feel like some extra bubbles.

All and all an incredible place with the most welcoming and gracious hosts, we highly recommend Four Palms.

Great features:

* Fantastic outdoor area with pool

* Spacious, well equipped kitchen

* Pool table, dart board and plenty other games to keep the entire family busy

Not so great features:

* The communal areas (including the kitchen) are shared by all the guests staying in the three rooms so if you are not good with strangers, rather just hire out the entire place!

* The shower in unit 2 is for shorter people

Price: Well worth the absolute luxury for less than you think! (Less than R500 per person)

Recommended for: Families

The host/s: Fantastic people, they were very kind and welcoming to us.
