Flamboyant Self Catering, Southbroom, South Coast, KwaZulu Natal

We stayed in August 2014, it was our first time travelling this far south for a weekend. Unfortunately the weather was not that great as it was very windy that weekend but the accommodation was first class!

The owner, Estelle, was fantastic and made us feel welcome right from the start.

The unit is just as lovely as the pictures on the website, everything is extremely well maintained and scrupulously clean.

It is situated in Southbroom which is a very quiet and peaceful area (we travelled in the off-peak season and didn't hear one car on the road at night - perfect for a great sleep).

The stunning beaches are just a short drive away and if you're into golf, there is a golf-course nearby too. 

Great features:

* 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - ideal for 2 couples or a family

* Separate laundry area downstairs for long stays

* Large, well equipped kitchen

* Garage and open parking 

* Lovely wooden deck and braai area

* In a quiet neighbourhood

Not so great features:

* There really is not much to complain about, if we had to be nit-picky all we can say is that there is not much of a view from the balcony, although you can see a bit of the sea in the distance. 

* The owner's house is on the same property and looks onto the unit

Price: Very reasonable

Would we go back: Yes

Recommended for:  Quiet couples or families with older children (you don't really want to disturb the peace)
