You will never feel more welcome anywhere than at Thandulula. 

The owners are truly the most warm and wonderful hosts you will ever be lucky enough to meet. They make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. 

The luxury tents are absolutely stunning - everything is spotlessly clean and of the highest standards. The units are private and this is THE place to go when you just want to relax and unwind completely. No traffic, no noise, just peace and quiet. 

The beach is short 5 minute drive away so you can have the best of both worlds - the sea and the trees.

There is a lovely communal area around the swimming pool where large groups can gather to braai/cook and socialize. 

This has to be one of our favourite places down the South Coast. It really is excellent value for money. There is always that bit extra - a chocolate, little tray of delicious snacks on arrival, rusks and boxes of juice in the fridge - not many self-catering places give you anything at all so this is always a treat!

It is also such a pleasure to be able to check out a bit later on Sundays (if prior arrangements are made) and not have to rush home like with most places that want you out at 10am on the dot. 

Great features:

* Stunning accommodation - neat and clean, comfortable beds, everything you need for a relaxing self-catering stay

* Communal pool and kitchen 

* Quiet area, far enough from the town and road for absolute peace but a quick drive to the beaches and shops

* Little extras provided eg. tea, coffee, sugar, rusks, a chocolate, juice, small jams and butters in the fridge - wow!

* Late check-out on Sundays (off-peak and with prior arrangement)

Not so great features:

* There really is not much to fault, the bathroom door doesn't go all the way to the floor so new couples have to take turns sitting on the lovely wooden deck in the morning:-) 

Price: An absolute bargain for the luxury you get!

Would we go back: Yes - again and again

Recommended for:  Couples, families, anyone who needs a break from the big city life
